Hotel History

In the year 1969 Heinrich (former farmer and football player with Allemannia Aachen/Oberliga) and Marianna Willms (visited hotel management school) bought the "Pension Walter". The two had been thrilled because of the pension's location - ideal for their vision. The good-bye from the homeland Eschweiler/Dürwiss (Germany, North Rhine-Westfalia) was especially hard for "Aka" Willms - but soon, many guests from Germany followed, which spent their summer- and winter holidays in Tyrol. What is best - the high number of regular guests still remains - from the very first day until today!



1969	Takeover of the Pension Walter with 12 rooms (approx. 25 beds)
1972/73	Rebuilding - various room enlargements
1973/74	Opening of the restaurant "Kaminstube"
1985	the heated outdoor swimming pool was opened
1988/89	tearing down of the hotel apart from parts at the ground floor new building of today's hot



1993/94	Enlargement and redesign - breakfast room
1998	Handing over of the hotel to the sons Ralf and Stefan
2001/02	The new hotel bar is opened
2003/04	Redesign of the old sauna area into a new (75m2)
